When I was planning for my wedding, the internet became my best buddy. I was on it 24/7. Daytime was busy busy busy with work (with the occasional surfing now and then of course), night time was filled with either scouting for the best deals for the hantarans or more research online googling for inspirations and such (or it was spent dreaming away for my purrrfect wedding).

It was extremely difficult for me, mind you. I was fickle about everything! From the color of my wedding dress to the color of the cake. It changes with every magazine that I read. I bought two 4 meters of french lace (both in pink variants) while I was in Bandung (for the supposedly wedding-shopping-spree) just because I can't decide which is better AND several meters of grey/silverish cheap thai silk imitations for my bridesmaid. Guess what, I ended up using neither! I'm crazy, I know. Tsk. Which reminds me I should try and sell off those laces.

There are tons of things I would love to share from the wedding experience. The good/bad/ugly/pretty/sad/happy/fucked-ups etc. A friend was involved in planning a wedding for her brother recently, and she mentioned how hard it was even when it's not even her wedding. So I suppose my several rounds of outburst and thunderous tears was acceptable, ey? ;)

Up till now, I'm somehow still pretty much in tune with anything wedding related. I will be on autopilot whenever I'm in magazine stores, reaching out for magazines and sifting for the wedding columns. I just can't resist! Am not too sure why. More often than not nowadays I would find a familiar face being featured. Must be the age factor.

Anyway, to kickstart my rounds of (future) posts on my wedding misadventures I'm posting up my hantarans specially made with love and care (with a few dash of angst and sisterly bickering) by my lovely sisters. It was warped up in two days! It was beautiful, considering that we had to multitask EVERYTHING between the 3 of us in 1 (hell of a crazy) week!
